Psalms 28:1

I like  the NOT version because it’s blunt.  Other versions are more poetic and instead of saying I might as well give up and die, they  reference going down to sheol…like we can envision that, right?

This verse totally conveys David’s love and dependency on God.  It’s another good example for us of the reliance and relationship we all should be building for God.  That total need to hear God’s voice, got Him to acknowledge  us.

I pray to you, O Lord , my rock. Do not turn a deaf ear to me. For if you are silent, I might as well give up and die.
